If I could enable a setting that only allowed push notifications for unlocked content, I would not be deleting this app today. It's not the subscription locked articles, because that's fair. It's that most of the push notifications lead to a demand to subscribe. "Here, you should read this article that sounds super interesting ... but now that you are here, pay me." Even a dang padlock in the push notification (no need to click. just a visual clue that it's paid content) would be acceptable.

Reuters is good and my preferred news source. The App is good most of the time, but occasionally gets stuck where it tells me I need to sign in (already signed in, already paid subscriber). If I close it and reopen it, it goes back to normal for a while then randomly does it again. Sometimes this will happen multiple times a day for multiple days in a row. I've contacted support and they brushed me off. Would give the app 5 stars but I'm rating this while annoyed by that again.

News content is good, but the display is not. Graphs are cropped left and right to fit the text column, whether portrait or landscape, so you can't read the axes. Clicking on them doesn't do anything, so no full view there. The headlines are very large and shouty compared with normal text, and there are no controls for this in settings. In fact the preferences section has only 3 controls: light/dark, hide images or autoplay video. Search is appalling and has been for years. And now pay only?

Hi, thanks for you feedback! We're fixing this cropped graphics issue in 7.2.0 and will do more to make them more accessible in the future releases. We're working on a density feature that will hopefully help with the layout issue you mention, as well as a font size feature. for any other feedback please email me at [email protected] thanks!
